Here is Ron Gabel's answer to question number 10154

i just recieved a double barrel enders special service shotgun, from my uncle estate. but i dont know the ga. of shotgun. can you help. thanks

Answer:

Shotgun Gauge, like rifle caliber, is determined by measuring the diameter of the bore.
