Here is Ron Gabel's answer to question number 11682

Question:

dear sir, I have aquired a shotgun side by side with hammers and i think damacus barrels. i am led to believe it was made early 1800. It was belonging to my great great grandfather. The makers name is engraved on the gun, It looks to be George Snith or Smith of Princes street Leicester square London. I would be most greatful if you could give any iformation on the gun or the maker Yours sincerley Alan Coyle

Answer:

George Smith was located in London from 1841 to 1897. I have no information when he was at the Princes street address.
