Here is Ron Gabel's answer to question number 13619

Question:

1. I have a FOREHAND ARMS CO. single barrel shotgun patented 1896 with a serial # of 34589 I was wondering if this particular shotgun had any value it does have a little rust on it? 2. What can I clean it with to restore it?

Answer:

Your Forehand Arms Company shotgun was made after 1898 and is of little collector value. Clean off the rust by rubbing with a soft cloth and a drop of Flitz Metal polish.
