Here is Ron Gabel's answer to question number 13722

Question:

I have a 22 long rifle by Stevens arms but not sure the date because it is so old can't make out. I know Stevens arms was founded in the 1860's. This gun has F967 on it, not sure if that is the serial number or model number but if you can help me I would be very grateful. I believe this is one of the early model 22 long rifle by Stevens arms that was produced. If my information helps you to answer my question could you also, if possible tell me what this gun may be worth. Thank you

Answer:

There were a tremendous number of Stevens 22 caliber rifles. I require a better description to identify.
