Here is Ron Gabel's answer to question number 13725

Question:

Have been handed down what looks to be a .32call, octagon barrel, brass inlay, curly maple, percussion rifle. It says r yutzy on the barrel and Joseph golcher on the lock. I cannot find any serial number on the rifle. Could you tell me more about it? Also how much its worth in good condition?

Answer:

Reuben Yutzy worked in Winesburg Ohio circa 1838 - 1875. He was located in Holmes county and was a farmer and a gunsmith who settled there in 1839 from Pennsylvania.
