Here is Ron Gabel's answer to question number 13747

Hello and thanks for the time. I saw that you had a question about a gun from Joseph Gibbins. I have 54cal flint lock from Joseph Gibbons. Did you fin any history of him. The only info I have is that he was from Brownsville Pa. Are these guns rare and is do they have value? Please let me knowif you have any info. Thank you Jim

Answer:

Joseph S. Gibbons worked in Brownsville,Fayette County PA circa 1856 - 1882. This is all I have.
