Question:

Trying to find out more on a gun my boss owns it was made around 1860 according to a gun smith as it was to be black powder but was converted to shoot rim fire. Gun maker c. c. Anschutz of zella st blasil Germany. Has gold and platinum inlays so wasn't cheap when it was made. Just hoping you could tell me more about gun maker please Many thanks in advance

Answer:

The only information I have concerning R. Anschuetz (Anschutz) is that he worked in Zella St Blasii, Sachsen Germany circa 1850.
