Here is Ron Gabel's answer to question number 13889

Question:

I have an old Hudson dbl barrel shotgun I'd like to find some info on . It appears to be labeled w&h hudson . It is a rabbit ear under breach brake. The only numbers I can find are under breach lever and appear to be 4948

Answer:

"Hudson" was a trade name used by the Crescent Arms Company and others on shotguns made for Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Co.
