sir, i have 2 s. beck long rifles, can you tell me anything about the maker? thank you, jim

Answer:

There is an S.Beck & Sons maker of rifles and shotguns listed in Indianapolis Indiana, a Samuel Beck who made percussion and cartridge guns in Indianapolis 1833 - 1885 who was a brother of Christian Beck, and a Simon Beck in Boscobel Wisconsin in the 1880's.
