Here is Ron Gabel's answer to question number 2487

Question:

i have a single shoot shotgun made by harrington7richardson arms co 12 guage it says bay state or ray state on it serial no a883486 can you tell me about it and the value of it

Answer:

Bay State single shotguns were made by Harrington & Richardson Arms Co. who were gun makers from 1872 to 1985. The single barrel, break open shotguns were made from 1908 to 1942 and retail at $85 in good condition.
